eMotorola is preparing to launch the Razr 2019, a new smartphone that will be the company’s first folding screen. The launch should happen next week, on November 13, but information indicates that the device should soon arrive in Brazil.

According to the TudoCelular website, a handset model with code XT-2000-2 is in the process of approval by Anatel. It was possible to check the system of the national telecommunications agency and find the model, but without more information about its documentation, but it would be the Motorola Razr 2019 (V4 or V3 2019).

The fact that the smartphone is in the process of being released to the Brazilian market indicates an upcoming release, see that Motorola must start its advertising campaign to take advantage of the holidays.

Considering the fact that the company usually invests in Brazil in its releases, as well as the idea of a folding screen phone that looks very similar to the already legendary Motorola V3, putting the smartphone in stores with other countries seems a very plausible plan.

This images were shared by Mobielkpen and journalist Evan Blass, who is famous for leaking releases early. The rederizations are in poor quality, but show that the device should look similar to the classic Razr V3, 2004. The difference is that the new device has a flexible display that can be folded.

In addition, the new model should have a digital reader and a smaller screen size, which allows interactions without having to open the phone.

The nostalgic look also gives the smartphone a compact size compared to other folding ones like Galaxy Fold which use the flexible display to extend the display area.

The external display will also be touchscreen. This handset will come with a battery capacity of less than 3,000 mAh, which may be lacking depending on the user. Thee internal screen has good performance, even having a wide notch to house the sensors.

The price of the smartphone is priced at $ 1,500 ($ 6,200 in direct conversion); about $ 500 less than its direct competitors Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X.
