Lumia 950 gets Windows 10 for ARM with several enhancements

Recent updates from Windows 10 to ARM processors bring a lot of new features to Windows Phone users, already tested by installing the operating system on the Lumia 950 models. As a result, the project is almost over, as it is not long before Windows 10 ARM can be fully used in the Lumia 950, but Gustave Monce said there is little certainty about the release date: it could happen. “in the middle of the month [September], maybe next time.”

Fortunately, Windows Phone users can install Windows 10 ARM on a Lumia 950 XL before it becomes useless next year. Independent developers Gustave, Ben, and others have been working on bringing the full Windows 10 desktop experience to Lumia smartphones for quite some time. 

July 2019 driver package is now available for Windows 10 ARM on the Lumia 950 XL. The latest version of Windows 10 on ARM for Lumia comes with a number of fixes and enhancements.

The program is known as the WoA Project and already has a Telegram channel to discuss with the community new update needs and feeds, which shows that other functions should come to ARM and add a lot to the operating system.
